This term-paper will allow you to:

Demonstrate an understanding of the benefits and challenges for Mexico/Singapore/Australia/Malaysia/France/New Zealand/Italy/South Korea in the field of international business

Explain the potential benefits (e.g., access to markets, cheaper labour, increased quality and quantity of goods, access to resources) and social costs (e.g., outsourcing, human rights or labour abuses, environmental degradation) of international business for domestic and foreign partners

Explain the barriers and obstacles to conducting international business for domestic and foreign partners

Identify Mexico/Singapore/Australia/Malaysia/France/New Zealand/Italy/South Korea's major imports and exports

Identify Mexico/Singapore/Australia/Malaysia/France/New Zealand/Italy/South Korea's major trading partners and trade agreements

Describe the business etiquette and culture of other countries (e.g., with regard to gift giving, business attire, punctuality, protocol of business meeting, gender roles)
You and your group have been selected to research the country in question in preparation for the Trade Mission. Your team will prepare a brief, in the form of a PowerPoint (Prezi or other software package) presentation, to convey research findings to your supervisor.

2. Prepare a presentation that will introduce your supervisor (the class) to the foreign country that the will be visiting
3. Presentations should be no longer than 10 minutes. Ensure that you chunk the presentation so that each presenter is allowed the opportunity to share equally in the presentation
4. A bibliography, including all resources and web sites used must be included
5. A copy of the PowerPoint presentation file and hard copy of the report should be handed in for evaluation prior to your presentation.
